Apicola Deva face parte din asociatia Crescatorilor de Albine din Romania, filiala judetului Hunedoara. Sunt aproximativ 1000 de apicultori in cadrul acestui judet, cu un numar de 30.000 de familii de albine.

Apicola Deva este atestata pentru productie si procesare de produse organice BIO de catre organismul de certificare EcoCert si are implementat din anul 2008 un sistem de management si siguranta a alimentului ISO 22000.
